Our WALK & TALK program aims to bring together diverse visions on life and art. The participation of Katherine Akey and Manuel Rademacher is a clear example of how two persons are able to build bridges between realities in a short period of time.
Katherine is working and living as a visual artist in the US and Manuel is a restaurant owner and radio contributor in Germany. Their seven-day residency was an intense meeting, constantly connecting their worlds through chats, mail exchange and audio material. They were finding lots of crossroads between a vast amount of topics like urbanism, food, radio making and interventional art practice, leading them to reflect on what Art is in a fluent and fresh way regardless their different positions about the topic.
