We are Pat Lemos (Spain) and Lukas Lehmann (Germany), visual artists and members of the duo LEMOS + LEHMANN, currently based in Iceland.
Our practice revolves around nature and its intrinsic visual and emotional relationship to existence. Using analogue photography as the main tool and putting it in dialogue with sound, sculpture and installation, we blur disciplinary boundaries with the aim of exploring new fields of perception, contemplation and emotion.
Throughout our career, our work has been exhibited internationally in museums, galleries, fairs, art centres and off spaces. We currently continue to collaborate with galleries in Europe and the United States, while delving into new levels of our research and artistic expression.

After years of experience in collectives, cultural spaces, artist residencies and interdisciplinary training, BONFIRE is the product of our journey and desire to promote artistic encounter and dialogue. We are creative directors and coordinators of the platform and all the services it hosts: guidance, online residencies and external projects. A plural proposal that invites you to discover new forms of communication, inspiration and coexistence.
Transdisciplinary artists and participants from all over the world, aged 21 and over, solo or duo, at any stage of your artistic career, whether emerging or established.
No matter where you live, whether you have a stable base or are a digital nomad, the sessions are online and allow us to connect your home or studio to ours. A good internet connection will always help us to have a better experience!
Candidates will be selected based on their work and professional background, as well as their motivation to be part of the program. Applications are free of charge.

At the moment, we cannot offer personal funding but we can provide you with the necessary documentation in case you want to apply for an external grant.
