Vero Glezqui is a multidisciplinary visual artist from Tijuana. Her work explores nature through geological, ecological, and cosmological perspectives, using drawing, painting, collage, and installation. She is interested in environmental science and philosophical disciplines that deconstruct nature and highlight the interconnectedness of ecosystems on both micro and macro levels.
«The Bonfire Nomadic Art Retreat was a transformative experience that allowed me to slow down, be present, and truly take in the landscape around me. It helped me reconnect with the non-human world at a moment when I needed it most. Sharing this immersive journey with a generous, respectful, and caring community of artists and mentors made it even more meaningful, as we exchanged knowledge, reflections, and conversations about our art practices and the land we explored together.»
