Olga studied at the University of Hertfordshire (UK) and is currently pursuing further education at Kunst University in Linz (Austria). Using art as a form of self-expression, she pays special attention to maintaining spontaneity in her practice by using vivid palettes, fleshy, biomorphic shapes and unsettling textures. «The residency began on February 14th and on February 24th the war began. Everything that I did before, all ideas and plans were swept away by the catastrophic and unbearable events. In my attempts to paint, the fake truth of interbellum revealed itself to me and I found myself in front of a work created from scraps of the former world, reproducing the horrific reality of the present.»
