Bryn McConnell is a painter working with the subconscious to translate the energetic qualities of humans, places, and things. Informed by meditation practice, tarot, astrology, quantum physics, neurological reprogramming and Jungian shadow work, her work blurs the lines between the material and spiritual, seen and unseen, tangible and intangible, real and surreal. It materializes in sketchbooks, on canvases, and as large-scale murals.
Since 2021, Bryn has been living and working nomadically across Europe, the UK, and the US. Travel inspires her painting as it is an opportunity to examine her psyche as it responds to new and different places.
